At this new-build school gymnasium, students were in need of a recreational space that could facilitate sports activities and large gatherings.
It's a proven fact that daylight improves student performance, increases energy levels, and boosts morale, so integrating sunlight was a natural choice for illumination. However, the natural daylight needed to be controllable for occasions in which the space required darkness to use the large projector screen.
With Skyvault M74s, we were able to provide the gymnasium with ambient natural daylight that could be controlled at the touch of a button.

Using Daylight Dimmers, occupants can easily control the level of daylight inside this multi-purpose gym during daylight hours - dimmed daylight for media display and bright daylight for student activities.

High output solution using Solatube’s Skyvault Tubular Daylighting Device to bring maximum amount of daylight to the interior space. With added Amplifiers, daylight is delivered deep down to the floor level maximizing visual light to where needed.
